Business Unit Sales & Marketing Associate

SAFKAR is growing and we continue to seek talented, creative, driven individuals to join our team. There is a following opening for Business Unit Sales & Marketing Associate position in our organization.

Roles & Responsibilities :

The scope of the position includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities and tasks:

  - Motivate and manage a team of Regional Sales Representatives for Central Europe/ Eastern Europe/ Middle East & Balkans by setting goals and providing metrics.

  - Derive sales and promotional strategies and activities aligned with corporate objectives. Develop Sales and Marketing road map & action plans for the Business Unit together with Regional Sales Representatives.

  - Research and develop distribution strategies to accelerate growth of new products and/or new markets.

  - Monitor competitive environment to identify opportunities and countermeasures to address competition. Establish global pricing policy for operating regions.

  - Forecast and report results to Sales & Marketing Manager in regular, required time periods.

  - Design corporate communication texts and marketing messages.

  - Provide product support to sales representatives and distribution. Act as a liaison for technical services, production planning and engineering on product issues.

  - Evaluate the need for technical and commercial product training to dealers and end user accounts and seek assistance from internal engineering resources as necessary.

  - Identify new service centers/ dealer locations.

  - Oversee operational documentation process.

Minimum Requirements :

 

  - Bachelor's degree in Managerial Sciences

  - Minimum 2 years of experience in leadership/ management role at global sales function of an industrial manufacturing company.

  - Able to lead and motivate diverse groups of people toward common goals.

  - Strategic thinker, ability to draft business plans and communication messages.

  - Strong decision maker with capacity to foster change and resolve conflict

  - Excellent written and oral communication skills must be present to ensure common understanding of goals of management, sales representatives, and distribution channels

  - Must be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  - Position requires minimum of 20% travel within the assigned region or visits with regional sales representatives.

  - Position based in Izmir.
